Pyotr Tchaikovsky

The Sleeping Beauty

Спящая красавица

One of the most famous, beautiful and solemn classical ballets, and, what rarely happens, with a happy ending. The genius of Tchaikovsky and Petipa turned Perrault's fairy tale into a real hymn to love that can bring back from eternal sleep.

At the Bolshoi Theater, the ballet is being performed in the version by Yuri Grigorovich, and since 2024 with the unrivaled set design and costumes by Simon Virsaladze, Grigorovich's regular co-author at the Bolshoi.
